Johnston Carmichael doubles Dundee office space – Daily Business

Accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael has moved to larger offices in Dundee amid plans to double its city workforce to 100.

The 5500sq ft regional hub in the DundeeOne business centre is twice the size of its previous office.

This is the second time the firm has moved as headcount has risen substantially from three when the firm opened its office in the city in 2019 to 50 employees.  

Jenn Stewart, Dundee office head and partner, said the move will support the firm’s ambitions to have more than 100 people based locally by 2030.

Recent additions include audit manager Finlay Maclean, who arrives from a Big Four firm and joins recently hired audit assistant manager Uthman Ahmed. VAT manager Allan Easton has also joined the company.

The additional space has further allowed the 25 members of its team in Forfar to split their time between both offices.
