35 firms share £1.5 million through Scottish EDGE – Daily Business

A further £1.5 million was shared among fledgling businesses in the latest round of the Scottish EDGE pitching event.
Cash and other support was shared among 35 companies. Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Enterprise were again main sponsors.
Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes delivered a message acknowledging the “vital role entrepreneurs play in shaping Scotland’s future economy”.
She added: “Scotland’s entrepreneurs and start-up businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and we must do all we can to encourage and foster the incredible talent and innovation in evidence right across the country.”
