Lochrin Square almost full after Hays takes space – Daily Business

Recruitment agency Hays is relocating its Edinburgh operation after securing space at 2 Lochrin Square, as the refurbished office building nears full occupation.

Hays is taking the entirety of the uppermost floor, comprising 4,086 sq. ft. of the Grade A office space.

Joint agents Knight Frank and JLL represented the building’s manager, global real estate firm Jamestown.

2 Lochrin Square, in the Exchange district, forms half of the Lochrin Square development, incorporating the property’s original B-listed façade. The property has undergone a significant refurbishment programme in recent years to enhance its sustainability and add amenities.

Among the occupiers are renewable energy groups Orsted, OEG, and Bluefloat Energy and Nadara Partnership, along with telecommunications consultancy FarrPoint.

Toby Withall, office agency partner at Knight Frank Edinburgh, said: “With quality space at a premium in central Edinburgh, we anticipate a great deal of interest in the building’s remaining space.”
