Ex-footballer has new goals with Thomas & Adamson – Daily Business

International construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson, part of Egis group, has appointed former Aberdeen and Leeds United footballer Mark Humphries as a director.
After leaving football he turned to a career in the construction sector and has two decades of industry experience, most recently as a partner at Gardiner & Theobald. Prior experience includes roles at Mott MacDonald and a spell as a self-employed consultant.
He will support Thomas & Adamson with its growth and expansion into new sectors. Last year, Thomas & Adamson was acquired by global architectural, advisory, construction engineering and mobility services firm Egis.
Mr Humphries has been involved in the £250 million Sighthill Transformational Regeneration project, which is the largest UK regeneration scheme outside of London; the development of XLCC’s £2 billion subsea cable manufacturing plant in Ayrshire; the £70m build-to-rent residential scheme at Candleriggs Square; the £68m extension and refurbishment project for the National Galleries of Scotland; and the £80 million Avenues Project for Glasgow City Council.
