CEO Dimes leaves Iomart weeks after rebranding – Daily Business

Lucy Dimes has left her role as chief executive of Scotish cloud computing firm Iomart less than two years into the role.
Previous chief executive Reece Donovan left suddenly in September 2023, replaced by Ms Dimes who combined the role with the chairmanship.
In a statement this morning, the board said it “would like to thank Lucy for all her work in helping to reposition Iomart’s business to more fully address the opportunities in the public and private cloud and Security markets”.
Chairman Richard Last will become executive chair with immediate effect while the board makes arrangements to appoint a new CEO.
He will be supported by Scott Cunningham, CFO; Angus MacSween, non-executive director and founder of iomart; Ryan Langley CEO of Atech, the group’s public cloud and security business and the members of the executive Leadership Team.
Earlier this month iomart announced it would be rebranding as Atech, taking the name of the English company it acquired last year.
It said the change was “part of its ongoing strategic development” and represented “a significant milestone in the evolution of its cloud services offering”.
Ms Dimes has operated in senior executive positions in FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and private equity owned companies spanning telecoms, technology, business services and financial services. She has substantial experience in complex, highly regulated international markets in product innovation, market entry, scaling for growth and expansion.
Iomart will announce full year results for the year ended 31 March 2025 in late June and confirms there has been no material change to trading since the pre-close trading update announced on 23 April.
