New Yards hits market in ‘tight’ prime office sector – Daily Business

Agents marketing a new office block being built close in central Edinburgh are confident it will be quickly snapped up as top grade space remains in demand.
Developer Stamford is behind New yards, a 185,000 sq ft development between Haymarket station and a tram stop.
It replaces the 1970s-built Rosebery House, a five-storey building which has been demolished to make way for its eight storeys replacement that will include a 200-capacity event space. It is designed by architecture firm 7N.
CBRE and Savills have been instructed to find occupiers. CBRE senior director Angela Lowe said prime Grade A supply is “tightening rapidly”
She added: “We’re confident it will attract strong interest from occupiers keen to get ahead of the curve and secure in-demand space off-plan.”
Mike Irvine, director at Savills, added: “New Yards bridges the gap, offering scale, adaptability and ESG excellence in a location that ticks every box.
TLT relocates
Law firm TLT has relocated its Edinburgh base to New Clarendon, a newly-refurbished building in George Street.
It more than doubles TLT’s footprint in the city and follows moves in Manchester last year and to Cadworks in Glasgow in 2022.
