PJs Foods is tasty treat for Tiffin Sandwiches – Daily Business

PJs Foods, the Glasgow-based food-to-go supplier to major institutions, events and companies, has been acquired by Tiffin Sandwiches.

Established in 1996, PJs has built a client list that includes the NHS, colleges, schools, in-flight caterers and sporting events in Scotland and the north of England. 

Tiffin Sandwiches is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers in the sector, distributing products to over 4,000 locations nationwide.

The acquisition strengthens Tiffin’s production and distribution capacity in Scotland through PJs’ purpose-built factory which produces up to 90,000 items per week. 

Lead advisory services were provided by the Consilium team of corporate finance partner Linzi Wilson and manager Colin McCrann

Tiffin Sandwiches director, Mark Salisbury said: “This strategic move adds to our current facilities in England and Wales and strengthens our commitment to delivering quality products throughout the UK.”
