Heal’s turns sights on opening Edinburgh outlet – Daily Business

Heal’s, the London-based contemporary home furniture retailer, is looking to open a store in Edinburgh.
It opened a 6,000 sq ft outlet store in Bicester in Oxfordshire last November and is now seeking 3,000 to 4,000 sq. ft showroom opportunities in prime High Street locations with good footfall
Among its target locations are Bath, Brighton, Edinburgh and Marlow, Bath.
Following the opening of the Bicester Avenue store, Hamish Mansbridge, CEO of Heal’s, said: “We continue to enjoy real success across our bricks and mortar portfolio.”
Heal’s early-twentieth-century Tottenham Court Road store, with its Portland stone and stripped-classical facade is an iconic part of London’s retail scene.
However, due to changing shopping habits it now occupies 49,000 sq ft over the ground floor and basement, having taken over the former Habitat showroom in the northern extension. The remaining floors are for office use, creative businesses and a cafe.
